My Pressure deck is dried out !?

Our deck on the house we just bought is pressure treated lumber. The problem is it was built about 6 years ago and from the appearance has never been treated with Thompson's or any other sealer. It is really dried out. Would it do any harm to treat it twice this summer? Now , and then a few weeks after that?
