Picking character names for novel?

I think the title should be "Unoriginal" subtext: "How copy and paste saved my life!" It's up to you to decide. It's you're story. If you feel comfortable with the Irish names, then go for it! Personally, I think you should as they pertain to you and your culture. It's very important the book is true to who you are and is everything you want it to be. Don't try and make it fit the world's mold by using more ordinary and accepted names, etc. Make it unique and different much like yourself. There is not another person in the world exactly like you, the same should go for your book!!! Good luck! :)
