I just moved a compter to an area where there is NO high speed, so it is dial up ONLY GRRRR...here is the prob

I have no modem in my CPU it is configured for a LAN connection But I do Have an external fax modem will it work?????I tried to connect but it is detecting no dial tone ...is there something i have to configure????
