If a child comes forward and says a member of the family molested her, is her testimony enough to convict?

Usually, the testimony of the victim is NOT enough to convict. You need: physical proof & medical testimony confirming the physical proof. you need: testimony of witnesses. You need: psychological testing of victim and perpetrator. Just to name a few. There probably exceptions to the above, but very, very, rare.
