I asked my girlfriend to prom and i bought her shoes,dress her ticket to prom and her alteration for her dress

Also her dinner and the limo and the boutonniere Her mom does not have enough money to get her things for prom... should i be doing all this?? is my girlfreind wrong for letting me do this?
