How do I spec Survival in WoW in a decent way?

I'm asking this because I'm planning to make a Dwarf Hunter mainly based on Survival as I've heard it's the best spec for the Hunter because it increases the chances of a critical strike and dodge,I don't want people saying orders or insults that orders me to make a Hunter based on Marksmanship and Beast Mastery.And If you're asking why don't take Beast Mastery it's because I've heard that the Hunter is highly and mainly dependent on the pet.I don't want dependency on pets I just want to be a Cl-A Hunter.
